Dr Angela Jesudason is a Consultant Oncologist for Children and Young People in Edinburgh and has a special interest in sarcoma and the challenges posed by cancers in teenagers and young adults. Formerly, the National Clinical Director for the Managed Service Network for Children & Young People with Cancer (MSN-CYPC), she co-developed the new Scottish Government Cancer Plan. Prior to this role, Angela chaired the UK National Cancer Research Institute Teenage and Young Adult Clinical Studies Group (TYA-CSG) leading it over several years, including through a successful quinquennial funding review and a merger with the smaller Germ Cell CSG. Her research focuses on improving access to clinical trials for young people.
