Dr Helen Rees

Dr Helen Rees is a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. She qualified from Guys Hospital in 1991 and trained in Paediatrics in North London then in Paediatric Oncology training in UCLH, GOSH and RMH Sutton. She did her PhD at Institute of Child Health, London and was appointed as a Consultant Paediatric Oncologist in 2007.

Dr Rees has a particular interest in Soft Tissue Sarcomas; soft tissue sarcoma and is past Chair of the CCLG Soft Tissue Special Interest group (SIG). In 2011 she led the development of the UK STS advisory group and the multidisciplinary CCLG meetings to support care across the UK. She has 3 grown up children, a wonderful grandson and 2 dogs!
