Dr Sarah Verity is a Paediatric Clinical Neuropsychologist attached to the Neuro Oncology department at the Great North Children’s Hospital in Newcastle. Sarah specialises in assessing and supporting children with neurological conditions, with a particular focus on the cognitive and functional consequences of paediatric brain tumours. Sarah has a strong interest in promoting quality of life for survivors and their families and has co-established a clinical programme in Newcastle exploring the use of methylphenidate to support children experiencing attentional and processing speed difficulties following treatment.
